Some people have found that consuming this tea in the third trimester and continuing until you give birth may be helpful with the toning the muscles of the pelvic region, helping with bleeding that happens postpartum, and for increasing breast milk supply.

Recipe:

  • 1 cup Red Raspberry Leaf
  • 1 cup Nettle Leaf
  • 1 cup Oatstraw
  • 1/3 cup Alfafa
  • 1/3 cup Red Clover
  • 1/3 cup Lemon Balm
  • 1/3 Peppermint

Mix the dried herbs together and store in a tightly secured jar. To make 1 quart, take a 1/2 cup of prepared herbs and fill quart-sized container with boiling water (using a French press could work, too!). Let steep for 1-4 hours. Strain and enjoy! May be sweetened with some honey/agave. It also can be enjoyed hot/cold, added to a smoothie or to your favorite drink, or just however you see fit!

Tea will be stay fresh for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
