Ellen has been a Certified Nurse Midwife since 2018 and has a passion for helping clients to achieve their reproductive health goals. She started her nursing career in 2013 working alongside Midwives at a birth center. It was there she learned about a more holistic model of healthcare which honored each person as the leader of their care. From there she worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and had the opportunity to advocate for a family-centered approach to the stressful hospital stays each parent faced. Ellen joined Breath of Life after time in a hospital midwifery practice, excited to return to community birth.
In addition to caring for women through their pregnancy journey, Ellen takes joy in providing wellness services and helping people to find balance between medicine services and complimentary alternative therapies. She hopes to make all who come to see her feel comfortable and empowered to care for their bodies and their families.
In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time outdoors with her rescue dog, finding ways to be involved in community service, traveling, and social dancing.
