A wrap is one of several ways that you can wear your baby. It is the most basic yet most versatile of baby carriers. It’s a simple piece of cloth, as they’re also called, but if you’re new to wrapping, it can seem like anything but simple! We hope to clear the air during this one-hour workshop as we go over wrap characteristics (such as sizes and fabrics), safety and show you exactly how to wrap your baby. This workshop is for new, expectant and experienced parents and any other caregiver who is interested in the art and practicality of wrapping.
Babies can be wrapped from birth to toddlerhood and beyond. Please bring your wrap if you have one; if you don’t, we’ll have a few you can sample during the workshop. Tampa Bay Babywearing’s lending library will also be available and members of TBBW may check out carriers at this time. Availability of any certain carrier cannot be guaranteed. A minimum $5 donation for this workshop is requested but not required (pay at event).
