Amy received her master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University and her undergraduate degree in nursing from Seattle Pacific University. She became interested in midwifery after the birth of her own daughter and is passionate about assisting women to have a positive pregnancy and birth experience.
Prior to becoming a nurse-midwife she worked as a nurse in high risk Labor & Delivery and Pediatrics. She believes that midwifery is not just a career but a calling from God and loves being a support to women and their families during this sacred event in their lives. She joined Breath of Life in July 2015 and feels blessed to work with such a supportive and caring team.
Amy enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, participating in church activities, attempting to be a gourmet cook, and watching marathon sessions of HGTV. She loves snuggling up on the couch with a good book, and doing anything that involves spending time with her husband and daughter.
